As she exits, Harry glances to the CURTAINED bed opposite.

The curtains separate and Harry peers in at Colin, lying stiffly… then a VOICE SPEAKS.

VOICE
Terrifying all this, isn't it?

Harry withdraws, sees a BOY (JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY) sitting on an empty bed.

JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY
Justin Finch-Fletchley. Hufflepuff.
We've got Greenhouse together.

HARRY
Right. Nice to meet you I'm--

JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY
I know who you are. We all do. Even us muggle-borns.

Justin grins agreeably as he and Harry shake hands, then…SMOKE curls from his ears.

JUSTIN FINCH-FLETCHLEY
Madam Pomfrey promises it goes away in an hour or two.

69 INT. GIRLS BATHROOM - DAY

A gloomy place. Cracked mirrors. Chipped sinks. Guttering candles. Harry and Ron huddle around a SMALL, BUBBLING CAULDRON as Hermione adds STRANGE INGREDIENTS.

HERMIONE
The Chamber of secrets has been opened before?

RON
This settles it. Lucius Malfoy must've opened the Chamber when he
was at school here, and now he's told Draco how to do it.

HARRY
We don't know that for sure.

RON
