FRUIT BALLS
(Yield: 104 balls)

1 cup butter or margarine, melted
1 pound chopped dates
2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
4 cups rice krispies
Confectioners' sugar

In a large saucepan, melt butter.  Add dates, coconut, walnuts, and brown sugar.  Cook for 6 minutes.  Stir in rice krispies.  Roll mixture into balls; roll in confectioners' sugar.
