CREAM CHEESE SWIRLED BROWNIES
(Yield: 2 dozen)

1 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate morsels
½ cup butter or margarine, cut into small pieces
3 eggs
1¼ cups self-rising flour
1½ cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 egg

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large, heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chocolate morsels and butter; stir constantly until smooth.  Remove from heat.  Stir in eggs.  Add flour, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla; stir well.  Stir in walnuts and remaining chocolate morsels.  Spread evenly in prepared baking pan.

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth.  Beat in egg.  Drop by spoonfuls over chocolate mixture; with the back of a spoon, swirl the two mixtures.

Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until just set.  Cool to room temperature in the pan on a wire rack.  Chill before cutting into bars.
