CHRISTMAS
LOGS
(Yield: 2 dozen)
½ cup butter or margarine
1 cup chunky peanut butter
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup flaked coconut
2 cups crispy rice cereal
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
½ bar paraffin wax
In a large saucepan, melt butter; stir in peanut butter. Add
confectioners’ sugar, walnuts, coconut, and rice cereal; add to butter
mixture, stirring thoroughly.
Form the mixture, by tablespoonfuls, into logs or balls. Chill.
In a large saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate morsels and
paraffin, stirring until smooth. Dip logs or balls into the mixture.
Let cool and harden.
