CHOCOLATE
SPRITZ
(Yield: 7½ dozen)
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2½ cups all-purpose flour
In a double boiler, over hot water, melt chocolate morsels; remove
from heat.
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, and vanilla until light
and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in melted chocolate. Gradually add flour. Cover; refrigerate
for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 400°F. Spray cookie sheets with non-stick
vegetable spray.
Place dough into a cookie press fitted with a star tip. Press
onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 5 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheets;
cool on a wire rack.
