CHOCOLATE PIXIES
(Yield: 4 dozen)

¼ cup butter or margarine
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
½ cup chopped walnuts
3 eggs
Confectioners’ sugar

In a large saucepan, melt butter and chocolate, stirring constantly, until smooth.  Remove from heat.  Stir in flour, sugar, walnuts, and eggs; blend in thoroughly.  Cover; refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 300°F.  Spray large baking sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls; roll in confectioners’ sugar.  Place, 2-inches apart, on prepared baking sheets.

Bake 15 to 18 minutes or until edges are set.  Remove from baking sheets; cool on a wire rack.
