CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES II
(Yield: 7 dozen)

2¼ cups butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
4 eggs, lightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 cups self-rising flour
2¼ cups rolled oats
2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
1 8-ounce bar Hershey's chocolate, grated
1 pound chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 375°F.  Spray cookie sheets with non-stick vegetable spray.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.  Add eggs and vanilla, beating until well blended.  Stir in flour and oatmeal until well blended.  Stir in chocolate morsels, grated chocolate, and walnuts.  Roll teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls.  Place, 1-inch apart, on prepared cookie sheets.

Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.  Remove from cookie sheets; cool completely on a wire rack.
