BOURBON
BALLS
(Yield: 2 dozen)
1 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
¼ cup sugar
3 tablespoons corn syrup
1/3 cup bourbon
2½ cups vanilla wafer crumbs
½ cup chopped pecans
Confectioner's sugar
In a medium saucepan, over low heat, stirring constantly, melt chocolate.
Add sugar and corn syrup; cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
Remove from heat. Stir in bourbon. Stir in wafer crumbs and
pecans. Shape into balls; roll in confectioners' sugar. Store
in refrigerator in an air-tight container.
