WHO:
The land was donated to our post at no cost by Don and Paula Schwantz.
We would like to thank them for their generous gift!
WHAT:
The new Legion Hall will be 50 foot by 100 foot with a canopy over the
entrance and a parking lot.
WHERE:
6 3/4 acres on the east side of Mauston, on Hwy 12/16, towards Lyndon Station, overlooking the Lemonweir River.
WHEN:
The fund raising committee has been looking into ways to raise money for the
building.
HOW:
A lot of the funding for the new building will be from contributions from various business's,
local individuals , and member contributions.
All contributors will be acknowledged on a plaque mounted on a brick which will be permanently displayed in our new building.

WHY:
The new Legion Post will signal to the community the stability of our organization, the
confidence of our members in our future, and the commitment of our
post to the future of the community.
It can be rented out for meetings, bingo, social events, company events, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and other functions which will build the post more solidly into the community.
It will have more and ample parking than our old post.
