Amendment 10 (1791)

Translation: Any powers not given to the U.S. Government in the Constitution, that are not prohibited to the states shall be kept for the states or the people.

Personal meaning: This Amendment is especially important because it states that any rights not reserved for the government goes to the states or the people. This amendment gives any rights that the government doesn't have to the states or the people so the government cannot take advantage of rights that are not listed and have too much control over people.
