I am a lover of words. I love their power. I love their ability to reveal the true intentions of a speaker, even in spite of a speaker’s efforts to mask those intentions.

A Republikkkan leader speaking racist venom is a non issue, a redundancy, and an expectation to me. My email has evinced that my reaction is the exception and not the rule. In recent weeks, I have fielded volumes of email protesting my silence on what I view as a regretfully rare moment of public candor by a leading member of a racist political party. So, I pen this brief column under duress, to officially add the following reflections to the collective national fray over Trent Lott’s recurring verbal diarrhea.

This is what Lott said: “I want to say this about my state. When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And, if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over all these years, either.”

Everything that Lott has uttered is blatantly coded speech. Any sane person aware of the insanity of Amerikkka’s racist segregationist history can easily decode Lott’s chosen words. Clearly, any bigot who voted for the rabidly racist Thurmond shared his Klansman mentality. Likewise, Lott speaks as a leader of a political party still grossly beloved by Klansmen nationwide. The white sheets once donned have morphed into designer suits, yet the missions and the messages of the “Grand Old Party” remain fundamentally unchanged, and obsessively appealing to KKK Grand Dragons all over Amerikkka.

Clearly, Lott is uniquely qualified to speak for the Republikkkan party. I am not surprised by Lott’s lobotomizing fondness for a fellow legendarily racist and revered bigot like Strom Thurmond. Thurmond, his evil twin peer Jesse Helms, and their arrogantly hateful ilk all repulse me beyond words.

When I gaze upon their decrepit visages, (actually visibly contorted by their rabid hatred for blacks, women, and homosexuals) I witness living demons. They personify the demons that evoked the Ku Klux Klan, lynchings, blasphemous and rabid pseudo-christianity, Jim Crow laws, the bio-warfare of AIDS, CIA crack dealers, COINTELPRO, etc....

I expect such monsters to embrace eras where their evil reigned unchecked. I expect them to mourn and romanticize Amerikkka's overtly segregationist eras. I expect them to devise covertly segregationist schemes forever, like the theft of national elections that have become as routine and more efficient than Jim Crow laws ever were.

So, when Lott found himself embroiled in this most recent incident, I was not surprised. President Select Shrub has become King Shrub. Lott is a crown prince in the newly assembled royal court of the New World Order. I find no shock value in Lott living up to the reality of collective legions of Republikkkan court jesters. In fact, I would expect nothing less in the reverie that has resulted from a second national wave of successfully stolen elections.

Lott got caught up in a candid and festive moment and his speech revealed the very clear and ancient hatred in his twisted aging heart. I actually welcome that accidental and unedited glimpse into the collective soul of the fierce factions that Lott represents. I always prefer to view my enemies in the nakedness of their passions. I would rather be insulted by candor than pretenses. I would rather be offended by truths than lies.

Undeniably, Lott’s racist remarks were raw and unmasked. By contrast, King Shrub’s racist remarks are routinely dressed up as patriotic wisdom. Arsenic laced with corn syrup is still poison...Rush Limbaugh crafted a perpetually cloned radio career speaking similarly senseless venom. Even black Republikkkans hate black people. The rabid and lucrative antics of Larry Elders, Ken Hamblin, and their black faced neocon peers make Lott and Rush sound like tactful and liberal speakers.

Why should we hold Lott to a higher standard than his bigoted peers or racist party? Lott should not be fired. He should be lauded for his courage and honesty to publicly say what his cowardly and clandestine peers only whisper behind closed doors.

Let us also decode Lott’s “apology”. Let us examine each of his routinely offensive utterances just as honestly as he speaks them. This was Lott’s initial pathetic attempt at a sincere apology: “A poor choice of words conveyed to some the impression that I embraced the discarded policies of the past. Nothing could be further from the truth, and I apologize to anyone who was offended by my statement."

“Discarded” is not synonymous with “condemned” or “rejected” or even “dismissed”. “Discarded”? What a brazenly tame description of the ruthless legacy of Amerikkka’s segregationist past! “A poor choice of words” is a brazen reiteration of the fact that his sentiments were expressed accurately, even if bluntly. “I apologize to anyone who was offended” implies that many persons were not offended. Indeed, millions of Republikkkans share the exact sentiments Lott expressed completely. They simply lack his power and bravado, both of which are necessary to demonstrate his honesty.

Rest assured, Lott is only being and speaking as a company man for the national Republikkkan party and fellow nostalgic racist Amerikkkan patriots nationwide. The party he leads is founded upon the racist ideals that Lott and his ilk endearingly covet. King Shrub is holding court globally. Lott is only the court jester-of-the-month.

And, this too shall pass...
