ELOQUENT FURY

REVOLUTIONARY AFRICAN TRUTH

EXPRESSLY FOR RADICAL INTELLECTUALS WHO SEEK KNOWLEDGE
(*******WARNING: HAZARDOUS TO NEOCON DELUSION*******)

                                    BRIEF BIO

My name is Alicia Banks. I am a native of Chicago, Illinois via somewhere in Africa. I am an afrocentric activist, a scholar, a public intellectual, a teacher, an instructor, a columnist, an author, a corporate trainer, an actress, a singer, a DJ, a radio producer, a film producer, a talk show host, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a personal safety instructor, a lesbian, a Leo, a hopeless romantic, a warrior, a lover, a friend and much more...

I am a verbal vessel for legions of ancient, African, sister warrior spirits, across oceans of time.

"Les Chanteuses Africaines", my unique radio experience, has been a legendary hit since 1989. It features the musical and literary voices of Black women with creative, political, and sexual diversity.

Since 1994, I am the first out lesbian in America to EVER host a prime-time, daily, commercial AM radio talk show. “Outlook” features radical talk for revolutionary intellectuals.

I have earned a Master of Arts Degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication (Summa Cum Laude 4.0). I have also earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Communication/Pre-Law from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I view academia as the last bastion of truth and the only real haven for afrocentric intellectual rebels like myself. Someday, I may earn a PhD in African-American Studies/Gender Studies and publish an anthology of my columns.

Currently, I am teaching the scholars and leaders of tomorrow and penning a unique tome on sexism. Very soon, I will reclaim my radio thrones...Stay tuned.

Thank you for reading my work.
