Ambrose Wedding
September 4, 2004
On September 4, 2004 the Ambrose wedding was very possibly the first religous service held in Ambrose Chapel in about 70 years.
Roughly 80 persons were in attendance for the blessed union of Robert S. Ambrose and Christen L. Bailey-Welch.  Reverand Randell Ours officiated.
The service held the ideals of the Chapels founder William Henry Ambrose who deeded the land in 1797 for a free meeting house for all who spoke the word of Jesus Christ, because Christen is Baptist, Ambrose is Methodist, and Pastor Ours is Brethern.
The wedding was done in the style of the 1860's as the Ambrose are Civil War reenactors.
Robert and Christen Ambrose exchange their vows in front of Pastor Randell Ours, while the Laura Afeldt (Maid of Honor) looks on.
