Isaac Hale is the little lagoon down the street from us.
The surfers are headed out to catch some gnarly waves!
Okay, well, they aren't so gnarly on this side of the island,
but it sure is fun to watch.
Surfing is a popular sport in Hawaii.
We feel like the only ones here who have never tried it.
Amber sits at the edge of the breakwater, taking photos and wishing
that she could surf, too. Someday, we will make it happen!
Short boards like this one are used for doing stunts.
This little boy has paddled out and found a wave that was
more than he bargained for. He wiped out, but ducked the
monster and coasted safely in on the next wave. What a trooper!
