All about Mandorallen

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Hiya!

Well, Mandorallen is the name I use at the Mallorean Tavern, and its also the name of a brave and honourable knight in David Eddings' fantasy series', the Belgariad and the Mallorean.  Mandorallen is bold, proud, courageous, speaks in an archaic manner, and is not very intelligent.  Naturally then, I'm nothing like him!

In that macabre realm known as 'the real world' I'm a soon to be ( I hope )  ex Computing student, and I live near Wigan in the North of England.  My many and varied interests include more or less anything to do with fantasy and sci fi, computing and Internet-related stuff, games ( mainly strategy and role playing ), politics and current events, psychology, and drinking.  The last of these is perhaps not done as often as I'd like, however!

I've chosen the Yin-Yang like symbol of the Aes Sedai, from the Wheel of Time series, to represent myself, because its probably my overall favourite fantasy series, and it symbolises co-operation and unity... isn't that nice!

On the net, you can be anyone.

If you have any idea what I mean when I talk about Baldur's Gate, you might like to have a go at this one at What D&D character are you?

I Am A: Chaotic Good Half-Elf Ranger Bard

Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Deity:
Solonor Thelandria is the Chaotic Good elven god of archery and the hunt. He is also known as the Keen Eye, the Great Archer, and the Forest Hunter. His followers respect nature, and only hunt when needed, but are quick to defend the forest from intruders. Their favorite weapon is the bow, and they tend to be extremely talented with it. Solonor Thelandria's symbol is an arrow with green fletchings.
