Honey & Nutz
This is my first marine fish tank. My 55 gallon saltwater tank has an Eheim canister filter and a Prizm protein skimmer. It houses Honey&Nutz, plus two damsel fish. If you wanna chat sometime, talk to me on Yahoo messenger at the name "amber439" :)
This is Honey!
This is Humbug. The ONLY damselfish I've known that is nice and doesn't start fights.
This is Honey & Nutz cozy little home for now. I'm saving up for a spacious 150 gallon for the future.
This is Nutz! Clear pictures are hard to take!
Honey's come to say Hello!
On February 17, 2001, the aquarium finished cycling, using the fishless method of using pure ammonia. Then I went to the Pet Centre and bought one 2" four-striped damselfish, and two 4" black & gold chromis.
Then on February 23,  I brought home Honey, a 4" porcupine pufferfish. Sadly, on May 27, I had to give up one of the black & gold damsels because he was harrasing Honey way too much. I gave him to my favorite fish store, The Fish Tank.
The Pet Centre was going out of business, so everything was on sale, including a 3" huma huma triggerfish for only $11! So I brought her home on June 30, and she is getting along great with Honey and Humbug. I named the trigger Nutz.
The only fish in the tank that causes trouble is the lone black & gold chromis. She'll attempt to start fights with Nutz, but Nutz is too smart for that. She knows she can easily kick the chromis's ass with her teeth and sharp dorsal fin, so she hasn't ever actually fought with the chromis.
