Journal #1-- I read Testimony, Narrative, and Nightmare: The Experiences of Jewish Women in the Holocaust and responded to it. I expressed exactly how I felt while reading it and how it affected me afterwards. |

Essay #1-- At the beginning of this essay, I wrote a response to the article read for the first journal entry. Then I responsded to my critical reading by evaluating the author's ideas and rhetorical ideas. |

Journal #1-- Women, Science, and Feminism was assigned to be read and then evaluated. Three claims made by the author were pointed out. |

Journal #2-- I thought of an issue at TWU that I felt strongly about and came up with a claim-and-reason statement dealing with it. I also gathered supporting arguments and ranked them. |

Essay #2-- This essay was not written to tell someone what they should think on a certain issue but to give them my opinion on it. I chose to speak of the poor quality of academic advising. |
