applepie Oriental Cabbage Salad

Ingredients:
4 cups shredded green cabbage
4 cups shredded red cabbage
2 green onions chopped
1/3 cup vegetable oil
4 tablespoons rice vinegar
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/2 cup roasted sunflower seeds
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles dry and broken up
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Combine all ingredients except almonds and ramen noodles in a large bowl. Just before serving add almonds and noodles. Gently stir and serve.

applepie Easy Pasta Salad from Shelly YEE

Description:
This salad has all a recipe can offer--it's a snap to make and good for you too

Ingredients:
2 cups Pasta shells, cooked according to directions, then rinsed with hot water
2 1/2 cups Broccoli
1 1/2 cups Carrots
1 medium Red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup Red onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup Corn kernels, thawed and drained
1 Tbs. Olive oil
1 Tbs. Fresh basil, finely chopped
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp. Red wine vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Steam broccoli and carrots till crisp tender. Place in large bowl. Add the rest of the vegetables.
Combine wet ingredients and seasonings.
Add to vegetable mixture. Mix well.
Add hot pasta, toss to coat.
Serve warm.
