ج2- حرمة حلق اللحیة بنظرنا غير معلومة ولا تترتَّب عليه آثار الحرمة، وإنْ كان الاحتياط بالترك مطلوباً. و ألاحتیاط في عدم حلق اللحیة استحبابي و لیس وجوبیاً.

Many of our men in western countries need to shave their beards because they
are afraid that if they keep

their beards they will be called extremist muslims and lose their jobs.

Is it allowed in this situation for a man to shave his beard? If no, and
your ruling is based on Ihtiyaat

may he follow another maa' in this issue who says that shaving is not
haraam?


Many of our men in western countries need to wear a tie to work because they
are afraid that if they don't wear a tie to work they will be looked upon as
extremist muslims and lose their jobs.

Is it allowed in this situation for a man to wear a tie? If no, and your
ruling is based on Ihtiyaat

may he follow another maa' in this issue who says it is ok in this
situation to wear a tie?

If it is difficult for them to wear Hijab as usual and common, they can hide their hair by using wig so that they can both be free from the present difficulties and also perform the obligatory Hijab. Of course, they may face some difficulties in this way but everybody should bear them for the satisfaction of Allah (swt) and his/her welfare.

It is very hard to convince the western non-muslim women to become muslims
because they are afraid that if

they wear hijaab then will lose their jobs and be discriminated against in
schools.

Many of our muslim women are also suffering because of this.

Is it allowed for a muslim woman to remove her hijaab at work if she is
afraid she will lose her job if she

wears hijaab and also is it allowed for a muslim woman to remove her hijaab
at school if she is afraid she

will be discriminated against. Without an education she can not get a
adequate job.

ج - رغم آن البسملة عند الذبح شرط في حلیة أكل لحوم الحيوانات المحللة ويحرم لحمها إذا لم تذكر البسملة ، إذ جاء في القرآن (ولا تأكلوا مما لم يذكر اسم الله عليه وانه لفسق ) الانعام : 121 لكن من المحتمل عدم حرمة اللحم إذا تم الذبح من قبل من لايعتقد بالبسملة (لا من باب عصيان أمر الله) . ومع غضّ النظر عن الايات والروايات الواردة في حرمة مالم يسمّ عليه عند الذبح، فانّها تنصرف إلی حيث كانت هناك ذبائح سمي عليها وذبائح لم يسمّ عليها، لانّ تعميم الحرمة إلی الفرض الوارد في السوال يوجب المشقة والحرج، وترتفع الحرمة بأدلة نفي الحرج، باعتبار أن الاسلام دين التساهل، وفي النتيجة تحل اللحوم التي ورد السوال عنها ، ولا مانع من أكلها في المواطن المزبورة بسبب المشاكل التي تترتب علی عدم أكلها هناك، رغم أن أكلها يكون محرّما في المواطن التي تخلو من هذا النوع من المشاكل ، كما أن غير المسلمين ، الذين لاعناد لهم مع المسلمين، طاهرون.

Many non-muslims are finding it hard enough that pork and alcohol is not
allowed for them to consume and that is fine

however when we tell them that they can only eat beef that is slaughtered by
muslims they find it too difficult and many of them because of this

do not come to Islam.

Is it allowed for muslims to eat the beef and chicken slaughtered by
christians if they don't know whether the name of God was pronounced on the

meet before slaughtering so they themselves just say Basmalah before eating
it. Is this ok?

ج - نحن نرى تبعاً لبعض الأعلام من الفقهاء (قدست اسرارهم) أنّ حرمة الموسيقى والغناء تتعلق بمحتواهما. وكلّ صوت وغناء وموسيقى تدعو إلى التحلل والفساد أو تكون لأجل لهو وطرب أهل الفسوق والعصيان أو تكون لإشاعة المنكرات وتخدير المجتمع وإضلال الناس أو تعكس صورة سيئة عن الإسلام تخالف ما فيه من سماحة وعدل وما إلى ذلك، فكل هذه وأمثالها يكون الغناء والموسيقى فيها حراماً، والفاعل والمغنّي والمستمع يرتكبون إثمين. ولو أنَّ آية من القرآن غنيت للترغيب في عمل حرام باطل فإنَّ غناءها حرام، فضلا عن الغناء والموسيقى في غيرها من الأحاديث والشؤون الإسلامية الأُخرى.

It is legally forbidden and sinful to perform, produce, provide the tools and instruments for making, or to listen to any music, song, sound, and frivolous discourse which causes man to go astray and deviate form the way of Allah and beatitude. It should be said that spreading and encouraging indecencies, mental and physical ways and means which lead to committingsins, laziness which leads to burdening the society, drug and alcohol addiction, and all other sins are among the cases of deviation from the way of Allah, and one must avoid all the  them; therefore, any music which leads to committing such sins is illegal, irrespective of what kind the music and the instruments are; however, any music which does not involve misleading people, and which is not performed along with other sins being committed, such as mixing men and women to do vulgar things, is considered legal and permissible.

the western non-muslims usually love music and it is hard to convince them
to become muslim if we tell them

that music is haraam. please give the most easy guidlines in explaining
exactly what type of music is haraam

and which is not so we can help convert the non-muslims to Islam.
