Song: Come Together
Band: The Beatles
Album: Abbey Road (1969)
Tabbed by: Will Curry (WJCURRY@prodigy.net)

My version of the first riff in the song [RIFF 1]
e|--------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------5-----7-----------|
D|----7---7----5-h-7--------------------------|
A|----5---5-----------------------------------|
E|--------------------------------------------|

After this George does a simple D boogie for the
first half of each verse
e|---------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------|
D|----7---7-----9---9-----7---7----9---9-------|
A|----5---5-----5---5-----5---5----5---5-------|
E|---------------------------------------------|

Then he does an A boogie for the second half of each verse
e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------|
A|----7---7-----9---9-----7---7----9---9--------|
E|----5---5-----5---5-----5---5----5---5--------|

After that he plays this riff [RIFF 2]
(play last pair of numbers for 1/8 of a note)
e|----------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------|
A|-----7------6---6-----5-----------------------|
E|-----5------4---4-----3-----------------------|

So here is the first verse:

D boogie
Here come old flat top, he come grooving up slowly,
he got joo joo eyeball, he one Holy roller

             A boogie [RIFF 2]
he got hair down to his knee
got to be a joker he just do what he please

Back to [RIFF 1]

*CHORUS*
Come Together, Right Now, Over me
e|---------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------|
G|------7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7----------------------------|
D|------9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9----------------------------|
A|------9 9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9----5-5-5-5---slide to--5-5-|
E|------7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7----3-3-3-3-------------7-7-|

Then it goes back to [RIFF 1]

That is basically it minus a few small riffs that aren't worth
posting. I like this version because it sounds better when you
are playing solo. For complete lyrics just look back at some
previous postings, with help from this you can play a pretty
good version.
