1-29-09: Website updated.  New pages were added for our new additions, BVR Severe Thunderstorms, BVR Chunky Monkey, EKO-FSTR Silver Nitrate, EKO-FSTR Sterling Silver, EKO-FSTR Hi Ho Silver and EKO-FSTR Shel Silverstein.  Pictures will be up in a day or two.  We also have some sadder news with the passing of EKO Heidi van Dankelein on Christmas.  No necropsy was performed; she never fully recovered from her litter in November.  Our rattery mascot mouse Thelma died yesterday, Jan 28, after reaching a ripe old mousey-age of 2 years and 2 months.  Litter plans for 2009 are still up in the air and will be determined within a few weeks. 11-26-08: Heidi only had one pup and he didn't survive.  She will be paired again with Brutus in early December. 11-9-08: We're expecting litters!  EKO Brutus Garrison and EKO Heidi van Dankelein were paired in late October - the litter of Russian blues and Siamese is expected November 17th.  This litter will have standard, rex and double rex coats.  EKO Hungry Hungry Hippos is getting ready to be paired with EKO Check Engine Light at The FarStar Rattery in a week or so.  This litter of Siamese will have some wonderful rex coated rats and the whole litter is expected to have some of the best temperaments Echo has produced so far.  The waiting list for both litters has openings for new adopters! 10-20-08: Basic results from the RFL show this weekend are posted on the RFL site and the event page. 9-21-08: General site updates.  FarStar and Echo Ratteries are planning a co-breeding after the October RFL show.  The litter will be raised at FarStar, so you can expect squishy pups with terrific personalities along with the Siamese and Russian blue type expected at Echo.
