To book this 1.5 hour presentation click here.
From the most mountainous corner of the world join Gail on a virtual journey to the world's highest Base Camp.  Following the same trail as Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary when they first conquered Everest in 1953, we will cross glaciers, traverse valleys, climb high passes and cross numerous bridges before we ascend to the awe inspiring Everest Base Camp!
Gokyo Lakes
On the mountain we will explore the breathtaking Gokyo Lakes region (above) of the Solo-Khumbu before we head towards Base Camp and summit the highest mountain in the area Kala Patar for a 360 degree view of Mt. Everest and other surrounding peaks of this awe-inspiring region.
Other highlights of the trek include the artisitic and cultural capital city of Kathmandu where after a day or two of exploring its street markets and alley bazaars and witness the burning ghats at Pashupatinath we climb to visit the Swayambhunath (The Monkey Temple).
