Bon Jovi and Jennifer Nettles have been nominated for "Vocal Event of the Year" for "Who Says You Can't Go Home" at the
Academy of Country Music Awards.  Be sure to watch the show on May 23rd at 8:00pm on CBS.

A "Have A Nice Day Launch" Event was held Sept. 19th at the new Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York.  To see the show in its entirety, see AOL Music.

Bon Jovi teamed up with country trio Sugarland on August 8-9 at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom to tape an episode of
"CMT Crossroads" that premiered on September 16th.  Both acts sang together on each others' songs.  Plus, Sugarland lead singer Jennifer Nettles has recorded a country duet version of "Who Says You Can't Go Home?" that is included on the Have A Nice Day album.  This taping was the live debut of this version.  See BonJovi.com for the full press release.

Bon Jovi performed as part of the Live 8 concert in Philadelphia, PA, on July 2nd.  The show was one of 5 free concerts around the world aimed at raising awareness about poverty in Africa.  The event was staged by Bob Geldof on the 20th Anniversary of Live Aid.  Visit AOL Music to see Bon Jovi's 3-song set, "Livin' on a Prayer," "Have a Nice Day," and "It's My Life."  EMI will release a DVD of the event.  See www.live8live.com for more information.

Richie Sambora plays guitar on the new single by "American Idol" runner-up,
Bo Bice.  Richie appears on the song, "Vehicle," the b-side to the "Inside Your Heaven" single.  The two performed the song on the "Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC on July 6th.  Listen to the song here.

Richie Sambora performed a short acoustic set at Rockin' the Corps, a thank-you event for active military personnel and their families.  The event was held at Camp Pendleton, CA, on April 1st.  Everett Bradley, Lorenza Ponce, and Hugh McDonald performed with Richie.  The setlist included "Livin' on a Prayer," "It's My Life," and "Midnight Rider/Wanted Dead or Alive."  Heather Locklear and daughter Ava were also in attendance.  Image Entertainment will release the concert on DVD on September 6th.

Jon Bon Jovi is currently working on 2
movies, "Cry Wolf" and "National Lampoon's The Trouble with Frank."  To see a trailer for "Cry Wolf," click here.  "Cry Wolf" will be released on September 23rd, the same week as the new album.  Jon's role is a prep school teacher.

Richie will appear as one of the special guests on an album celebrating guitar legend Les Paul's 90th birthday.  More info as it becomes available.  Richie will also induct Les into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame in New York City on June 9th and participate in an all-star jam at the event.

Bon Jovi will headline a concert celebrating Miller Brewing Company's 150th Anniversary at Miller Park in Milwaukee, WI, on August 20th. 
"The Big Brew-Ha" is a free concert.

David Bryan performed at the club NA (formerly Nell's), co-owned by Yankees pitcher David Wells, in New York City on April 1st.  He played alone at the piano, and the setlist included "Travelin' Band," "Sweet Home (NY)," "Memphis Lives in Me," and "Wanted Dead or Alive."  In other David news, he will take part in a Master Class for VH1's Save the Music on April 8th at a school in Brooklyn.  This event is not open to the public.

Jon Bon Jovi will be on the cover of the April 2005 issue of
Player Magazine.  The issue will include a 7-page feature and will be on newstands April 16th.  See their website for more information or to order.

Bon Jovi will perform at a benefit for VH1's "Save the Music" at New York's Beacon Theatre on April 11, 2005.  The show will air on VH1 on April 17 at 9:00pm.  Other performers include Rob Thomas, Queen Latifah, John Legend, and Joss Stone.

Bon Jovi will play a special concert at the
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas as part of their 10th Anniversary Celebration on Saturday, April 30, 2005.  The band will perform in an outdoor venue built especially for them.  Tickets go on sale at noon on March 5th through Ticketmaster.

Destination Anywhere, the movie, has been released internationally on DVD.  The DVD includes videos for "Midnight in Chelsea," "Queen of New Orleans," "Janie Don't Take Your Love To Town," "Ugly," and the Destination Anywhere EPK.  The movie is digitally remastered.  All countries have been released, except for the UK, where the DVD will be released on April 11.  There are no plans yet to release the DVD in North America.

Jon performed a surprise
benefit concert for NYC's Blythdale Children's Hospital on Dec. 22nd, and the show was broadcast on WPLJ radio.  A lunch with Jon was auctioned off and raised $11,000.  See pics from the event at WPLJ's website and Yahoo.

"Rumble in the Montecito," the sequel to John Elway & JBJ's "Rumble in the House" TV spot, will be included in the upcoming DVD of the TV show "Las Vegas," which will be released January 4th.  The spot will also show in selected movie theaters.  More info at PR Newswire and Our Sports Central.

Richie was in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, on December 5th as one of the grand marshals for the 17th annual
Christmas Toys in the Sun Run, a benefit for the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Foundation.  Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and Vince Neil of Motley Crue were also grand marshals.

The band is featured in Billboard Magazine's November 20th issue.  The feature includes articles, a Q&A with band members, testimonials from friends and colleagues, and tribute ads.  Order online at Billboard.com.

Bon Jovi has been named the 31st winner of the
American Music Awards' "Award of Merit" for outstanding contributions to the musical entertainment of the American public.  The band will be on hand to accept the award and perform at the show on November 14th (8pm EST on ABC).  For more info & pics, see the Awards Page.

The band will play a promotional gig for the box set on November 21st at the Borgata Hotel/Casino in New Jersey.   Samsung will offer a live broadcast of the event at www.samsungusa.com/bonjovi at 8pm ET, and it will be broadcast on INHD/INHD2 Hi-Definition Television as the premiere of their "INHD's Center Stage" series.

The members of Bon Jovi are all involved in the new CD by
Billy Falcon, entitled Released.  The album was produced by Jon and Obie O'Brien, and Richie, David, Tico, and Hugh all played on it.  Visit Billy's website for more info.

MTV's 15th season of "Real World," set in Philadelphia, will have a BJ connection.  The 7 cast members of the show worked for the Philadelphia Soul during taping, and BJ.com has confirmed that there will be footage of Jon and the team throughout the season.  "Real World: Philadelphia" premieres on MTV September 7th at 10pm ET.

Samsung's Four Seasons of Hope sponsored a charity dinner and
webcast on June 7th where Jon Bon Jovi was honored for his charity work for organizations in Philadelphia, along with several other celebrities.  Jon gave an acceptance speech and performed an acoustic set during the event.  The setlist included:  Heroes (David Bowie cover), It's My Life, Here Comes the Sun (George Harrison cover), Livin' on a Prayer, Wanted Dead or Alive.

Richie received an honorary doctoral degree from Kean University in NJ and delivered their commencement speech on May 6th.  Click here to read the speech and find out more.

A
new mix of "Neurotica" will be included on a compilation CD produced for the AFL called "There's a Rumble in the House." The limited edition CD will be available exclusively at Best Buy, beginning April 4th, and the price is set at $5.99.  The enhanced CD will also include a two-minute version of the mini-movie between JBJ and John Elway.  See BonJovi.com for the official press release.

Richie Sambora will be a regular columnist for
Guitar World Acoustic magazine, beginning with the March 8th, 2004 issue.  The column is entitled "Lay Your Hands on This."

Richie announced on the Sharon Osbourne show that he will be buying a hotel in San Diego, California, and opening a House of Blues Club inside it.  No other info is available at this time.
