Candlewood Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited
(Western Connecticut)
We've established a new home on the web for the Candlewood Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.      Please come visit us at:
www.cvtu.org
The Trout Unlimited mission is to conserve, protect and restore North America's trout and salmon fisheries and their watersheds.

TU accomplishes this mission on local, state and national levels with an extensive and dedicated volunteer network.  The organization has over 125,000 volunteers in 500 chapters nationwide to keep them active and involved in conservation issues.

The Candlewood Valley Chapter of TU meets in Danbury, CT and has local projects for stream and river conservation and restoration and plays an active role in our communities educating the public both in conservation and fishing interests.  Our members enjoy active cameraderie in these projects, along with joint fishing activities throughout the year.  We have nine meetings per year in Danbury reviewing project plans and activities and talk with visiting experts on conservation and fishing activities.  Education for those new to fishing and improving member fishing expertise are also important elements of our meetings.
