This is what it looks like at the end of our trip in the winter. To the left, there is a park with a boat ramp, which is where we get off the river. Seeing this is always sooooooo depressing!!! I just hate getting off the river. Also, to the left, if you look closely, you can see my house! River front apartment life...almost heaven! (A house of my own on the river would be heaven!)

Well, it's been a fun day on the frozen river. As you can see, the sun is beginning to set and after a day in the sun, the river is even beginning to melt. We had a blast breaking up the ice and making floating islands with them! We even played "Dodge 'ems" and "Water Polo" with them. (AGAIN: CHILDREN, DO NOT TRY THIS! IT'S VERY DANGEROUS, EVEN FOR US EXPERTS!)

At least we knew that once off the river, a weloming bonfire awaited us at home! What a way to spend a winter day!
