A Few Tips For Trail Users
• Bicyclists
  • A slight grade will sometimes make the ride going west easier then when heading east.
  • Occasionally walking your bike will stretch out your muscles
  • Watch for loose surfaces
  • Use single file when passing other trail users
  • Properly fitting helmets are a good idea
  • Trail Blazer - 2006 scheduled second Saturday in May.
• All Users
  • Pay attention to trail signs.
  • The Kendall Store has reopened.
  • Dress appropriately for the weather and your activity
  • Use extra caution at driveway and roadway crossings
  • Use extra caution at the railroad crossing in Grand Junction
  • Have a water bottle available
  • Use a sunscreen
  • Poison ivy is occasionally found as a vine or ground cover
  • Do not litter
  • Do not pick, or take, plants or wildflowers
  • Do not trespass
  • Outhouses are NOT for the disposal of trash
• Pets
  • Keep all pets on a leash and under control
  • Pets need water too
  • Bring your pooper-scoopers
