Barbara Ludwin

2/23/44 - 10/29/96

Survived by: Carol, Dawn, Sandy, Nicky, Corinne, Ryan

Barbara E. Ludwin, was my mom. She was a mother of  four and a grandmother of two. She led a difficult life.  She was the best Mom that she knew how to be. Her  life was stolen from her at a young age of 52. The murderer was cigarettes. They gave her cancer, and  robbed me and my family of having a life without our  mother.   She was the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, most caring person, I have ever known! She was always there for me no matter what the situation! She had such a difficult life and deserved so much happiness!

I will miss all the fun times we had. I'll miss  her cooking, her jokes, our long talks, her wise advice, her laugh, her smile, and her caring soul. Even, just seeing her beautiful face, and hearing her soothing voice will be missed! She was a huge part of my life, and her memory is still a large part of my day. Not a minute goes by that  I don't miss her and think about her. She was so unselfish, and cared for everyone first before herself. Her loving Memory will live on in my heart and soul forever. My promise to my mother is to live the life that she didn't get to live, to see the things she didn't get to see! She can live through me.

Barbara E. Ludwin, was an exceptional women, and  mother, who will be deeply missed by all the lives that  she touched so deeply with her warm heart.

...I love and miss you mom, now and forever.

7/4/39 - 12/30/95

Survivor By:   Her  Husband Tony, Son Brian, Sister Marion and Daughter Lori

To Those I Love and Those Who Loved Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go

I have so many things to see and do,

You mustn't tie yourself to me with tears

Be happy that we had so many years.

I gave to you my love, you can only guess

How much you gave to me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

But now it's time I travelled on alone.

So grieve a while for me if grieve you must

Then let your grief be comforted by trust,

It's only for a while that we must part,

So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away, for life goes on

so if you need me, call and I will come,

Though you can't see me or touch me,

I'll be near,

and if you listen with your heart, you'll hear

All of my love around you, soft and clear.

And then when you must come this way alone,

I'll greet you with a smile and say

"Welcome home".

It has been almost two years Mom, and still we miss you. So much is different, yet nothing has changed.  Miss your laughter, the sound of your voice, your sensibility (I have no one to tell me now to put something warmer on because it's cold out!). I know Marion is grieving still too, we don't phone all that  often - she sounds so much like you Mom - it is both comforting and unnerving, but we stay in touch. Sassy is getting fat - but she is a good dog - except for letting herself out the back door! She is Dad's best friend. We try and keep the house as clean as you did, but I think you would probably be disappointed a little. We finally transplanted the fern - have two now - both very big. We haven't killed a plant yet, and yes, we still feed the squirrel and birds.  You were wrong you know, we all cared very much and God, Dad does miss you Mom - he is grieving in his own way and he still blames the Doctors and the hospital. Sometimes I blame myself for insisting that you go to the hospital - but you were so sick here at home and suffering. Amber remembers Grandma Donna too,  she knows you went to be with the Angels. She asked  about visiting you once, and I said in time we would all visit you, but then she wanted to know how we would get home. She understands but she doesn't.

Love you Mom

Nan Nash Jones

8/9/31 - 9/30/97

Survived By:    Daughters: Cyndy, Betsi & Amie;   Grand Daughters: Taylor, Shannon, Shelby & Sheridan

Dear Mother, I love and miss you more than words can express. No one seems to understand the pain I feel, the hole in my heart, the void in my life. You went so quickly...I never thought you would die. During those last few hours I couldn't/wouldn't leave your side. All I could do was to keep talking to you, stroking your beautiful hair, staring at your beautiful face and holding your hand.....never wanting to let go, but wanting you to let go and be at peace. When you looked and smiled at me just before you let out that last breath, I knew how lucky I was to be with you til the end, I felt like I had given life to you, knowing that you were not in pain and that you were not scared, made me feel so good, but now all I feel is pain and anguish. Ya know, I always knew you had friends everywhere and I used to tease you that you knew everyone in the world....well, guess what...you really do!! We have cards from people I didn't know exist who say how much you touched their lives. Just seeing you walk through the door made them smile. They all talk about the sparkle in your eye, your contangious laugh and sense of humor and how much you clearly loved life. I can only hope that I can have that same affect on people. You've left me quite a legacy! What am I going to do without my mother? My mother who always gave me such unconditional love! My mother who always comforted me! My mother who always listened to me no matter what hour of the night it was! My mother who I could tell anything and everything to! Who will I talk to now...of course, it will always be you...My mother, my best friend! I love and miss you so very much!

Mom, it has been almost seven years since you died, and

it still feels like yesterday. It is hard to hear your

voice, or your laugh anymore, but all I have to do is

hear myself. I am your daughter, the one you fought for.

You loved me, and I still feel your love for me. You

watch out for me, and you carefully guide me. You have

always taken care of me, and you always will.

In the last little while, I have been reunited with your

family, and I can see you in them. They are precious to

be with, and they willingly remember and tell me stories

about you when you were younger. I am so very glad that

I have them to be near to.

Mom, I thank you for giving me strength, and courage.

You showed me how to have ambitions and how to strive for

them. Thank you for showing me unconditional love, and

support. Through all of the hurts, struggles and joys,

you were with me. Thank you for showing how to survive

when things were difficult. Your strength rubbed off

on me. I will never forget you, and I wait for the day

we are reunited in Heaven.

Goodbye England's rose, May you ever grow in our hearts

You are the greatest person, Our lives were torn apart

You call out to our country, And you whisper, to those in pain

Now you belong to Heaven, And the stars spell out your name

And it seems to me, You lived your life

Like a candle in the wind, Never fading with the sunset

When the rain set in, And your footsteps will always follow you

Along England's greenest hills, Your candles burned out long before

Your legend ever will

Lovelyness we've lost, These empty days without your smile

This torch will always carry, For our nation's golden child

And even though we try, the truth brings us to tears

All our words can not express, the joy you brought us through the years

And it seems to me, You lived your life

Like a candle in the wind, Never fading with the sunset

When the rain set in, And your footsteps will always follow you

Along England's greenest hills, Your candles burned out long before

Your legend ever will

Goodbye England's rose, From the country, lost without your soul

Who miss the wings of your compassion, More than you will ever know

And it seems to me, You lived your life

Like a candle in the wind, Never fading with the sunset

When the rain set in, And your footsteps will always follow you

Along England's greenest hills, Your candles burned out long before

Your legend ever will

Your footsteps will always follow you, Along England's greenest hills

Your candles burned out long before

Your legend ever will

Mom, the greatest person ever...always there to help those in need...I just wish you could've asked for help when YOU needed it. Regardless I will always love you and will see you in heaven soon enough! I love you.  --Cory

Survived By:   Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and son-in-laws

Mom..

My friend, confidante and a loving, warm, caring woman.  She loved everyone and everyone loved her...We heard how  wonderful she was by all her friends at her funeral. Why is it - these same people couldn't tell her when she was alive? I would like to share this poem:

There is one thing we know

After the dark night

Dawn will finally come

And bring back the light.

There's another thing sure,

After gloom of grief

Don't ever doubt that God

Heals and brings relief.

He is leading each day

Through the hurt and pain

To mend your broken heart

And give joy again..

It will soon be one year since losing Mom..A HARD year.

I have went through SO many emotions and still am...

You are not EVER prepared to lose your Mom...She is the

one special person that can't ever be replaced.

I feel I have a special guardian angel watching over me,

protecting me and my family.

GOD, JESUS and Mom --- how can we lose?

I love you, Mom - and my heart still aches. I miss you

with my whole being.  -- Chero

Eugeny Maserejian

11/23/46 - 8/25/96

Survived By:  Loving Husband, Samueal Maserejian, daughters, Silva and Ani Maserejian

My mother, Eugeny Maserejian, was like god to me. She was an amazing person whose love of life, goodwill and compassion endeared her to all who knew her. Her death from scleroderma, a chronic, degenerative disease, was a painful one that came too soon. To read more about that, please look up www.sclerodermasupport.com, in the personal stories section under my name.

The following is a poem I wrote in honor of my mother and father, and the love they inspired in me.

Genetics

(For SM and EM)

His eyes are green.

Brilliant,

they shine like light

trapped in emerald splinters.

Gentle,

they smile beneath silken curtains,

singing with the breeze.

Her eyes are brown.

Patient,

they gaze like sailors

into distant seas.

Strong,

they fight turbulent years

like spiderwebs in the breeze.

My eyes are hazel.

Gentle brilliance shimmering

in patient strength.

They shine or fight,

brimming with light

conquering the breeze.

"Out of the finite darkness, Into the infinite light."     (Louise Moulton Chandler)

Gunborg Ilkka

8/13/44 - 10/22/98

Survived By:  Timo, Sanna and Magnus. And all her relatives and friends

A year has past since God took you with him. I can still hear your gentle voice and your laughter. But also I remembered the sadness in your eyes when the cancer weakend your body. Even though your body was weak your soul and heart never changed. You loved us and cared until the very end. You always put our needs and problems first! I love you and miss you so much! My life will never be the same without you. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing you're with God and you're one of his angels now. He must have had a very special job for you, maybe it is to watch over all the children who have lost their mothers too early?

Mary Falvey Dooley

(1842 - 4 September 1892)

Dearest Great Grandmother, it is only through my family history research that I have come to know you at all.  Be assured that I love you.  I can see in my mind the young girl servant in Tulla, County Clare, Ireland who later came to America, not because she wanted to but because she had to.  God bless you, Mary Falvey.  One day will meet in person; until that time I will love you anyway.

Your most loving great granddaughter, Annie

Rose Cooney (Koenig) Dooley

Your loving granddaughter, Annie
