Lania Athsien-Goldleaf
The soft pink lips of the
elven woman who stands before you are curved in
a delightful smile. Her large, cat-like green eyes are filled with merry
humor and kindness. Everything about her demeanor tells you that this elf
has a compassionate heart mixed with ranbunctious energy. Perhaps these
are the qualities that drew the Immortal Solanthas Goldleaf to her, for
she proudly bears the token of his love and vows upon her left ring finger.
Her long dark auburn hair flows freely down to her neat, trim waist, and
here and there, ornaments of spun gold and silver shaped like leaves can
be seen glinting. Her clothing is of fine quality, but not ostentatious:
a belly-baring, full-sleeved, deep forest green shirt of velvety washed
silk tops a pair of hand-tanned, dark brown suede leggings that lace up
the sides. Intricate jewel work and embroidery at the shirt's hem, cuffs
and collar provide food for an elf's innate love for beauty, worked in
tiny patterns of leaves, flowers and growing vines. Boots of sturdy
dragonhide encase her legs to the knees, and match the belt and weapon
sheaths at her waist. It is easily apparent that all she wears was custom
tailored to fit her slender but muscular body and unusual - even for an
elf - height. A gold leaf dangles from a ring piercing her belly-button,
another mark of her bond and affection for the Lord of the Wardancers
and her playful spirit.

Lania and Solanthas
Lania met Solanthas while serving in the following of Nature. First becoming great friends, Solanthas and Lania explored the land and life together. A friendship soon turned into more and Lania and Solanthas were married on July 27, 1997. The couple just celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.
