My accountancy training began with a top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants in London. I joined P&O Steam Navigation Company in 1988 where I managed the tax compliance functions of about 650 trading and non trading companies. I left P&O in 1992 to work on a freelance basis as Tax Consultant to blue chip Public Limited companies. I have worked with Rank Organization, TSB Lloyds Bank, Virgin Holdings, Maersk Shipping and other similar companies.
I specialise in UK taxation namely Personal and Corporate including Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax, and VAT. I also assist my clients in their accounts preparation and self assessment matters including any IT related matters such as systems installations and training.
