BRIDGE TO LIFE

The Bible teaches that God loves all men and wants them to know Him in a personal way .

" But man is separated from God and His love . God is on one side and all the people on the other side . "

Why is man separated from God and His love ?

It is because " ... all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God . " Romans 3 : 23

" ... your iniquities ( sins ) have made a separation between you and your God . " Isaiah 59 : 2

Where does this separation leads to ?

This separation leads only to death and certain judgement .

" ... it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgement . " Hebrews 9 : 27

" ... those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus . And these will pay the penalty of eternal destruction , away from the presence of the Lord." 2 Thessalonians 1 : 8-9

But there is a solution .

Jesus Christ , who died on the cross for our sins , is the way to God .

" For there is one God , and one mediator also between God and men , the man Christ Jesus . " 1 Timothy 2 : 5

" For Christ also died for sins once for all , the just for the unjust , in order that He might bring us to God.." 1 Peter 3:18

Does this include everyone ?

No , only those who confess their sins and personally receive Jesus Christ into their lives , trusting Him to forgive their sins.

" ... as many as received Him , to them He gave the right to become children of God , even to those who believe in His name . " John 1 : 12

Each one must decide for himself whether to receive Jesus Christ .

Jesus says ,

" Behold , I stand at the door and knock ; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door , I'll come in to him ... and he with Me . " Revelation 3 : 20

Therefore if we pray sincerely ; asking Him - " Lord Jesus , I confess I am a sinner , please come into my life and be my Saviour and Lord . Please forgive my sins and give me the gift of eternal life . "

- He will do it now.

If you have invited Jesus Christ into your life , the Bible says you now have eternal life .

An Empty Tomb

The women went to the tomb ... But when they entered , they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus . While they were wondering about this , suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lighting stood beside them . The men said to them : " Why do you look for the living among the dead ? He is not here ; He has risen ! " Luke 24 : 1-6

A Real Body

When the diciples were together ... Jesus Himself stood among them and said to them , " Peace be with you . " They were startled and frightened , thinking they saw a spirit . He said to them , " Why are you troubled , and why do doubts rise in your minds ? Look and my hands and my feet . It is I Myself ! Touch me and see ; a spirit does not have flesh and bones , as you see I have . " Luke 24 : 36-39

Seen By So Many

Christ died for our sins according to the Sciptures , He was buried , He was raised on the third day according to the Sciptures , and that He appeared to Peter , and then to the Twelve . After that , He appeared more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time , most of whom are still living . 1 Corinthians 15 : 3-7

He's Alive !

And who through the Spirit of holiness was declared with power to be the Son of God by His resurrection from the dead - Jesus Christ our Lord . Romans 1 : 4

Christ's Challenge To Us

I am the resurrection and the life . He who believes in Me will live , even though He dies ; and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die . Do you believe this ? John 11 : 25-26

The Promise Before Us

If you confess with your mouth , " Jesus is Lord , " and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead , You will be saved . Romans 10 : 9

For God so love the world , that He gave His only begotten son . Who shall ever believe in Him , should not perish but have eternal life . John 3 : 16
