My Family, My Friends, My Comrades-At-Arms
 
Lets start with my family…. 
 
I grew up with my Mom, Kim and my brother Joe. Joe has two wonderful kids named Emma, (who is just turned 7) and Ben who just turned four. They are wonderful and I love them to pieces!!!   We had an awesome stepfather named John who is now keeping company with the angels in Heaven.  Our stepfather gave us a little sister named Robyn, who is a very cool person.  This year Robyn married her soulmate Jody in Cabo San Lucas, and we all took the opportunity to join them for a week of fun in the sun.

Now, my Mom has a wonderful guy named Jurgen.  With Jurgen came our older sisters  Sonia, and  Susanne.  About 16 years ago we added Curtis, a sibling who FINALLY shares my red hair.  *grins*  Susanne has also added her husband Les, his daughter Erica,  which made me an instant aunt, which is very cool.  They now have a two gorgeous little boys, named Justin, and Carsen, we all think they are WONDERFUL!

 
My Dad, Gerry lives in another city with his wife Rose. When they got married, I gained a whole new set of siblings:   a brother Tracy, a sister Tanya, who is married to Jim, and their kids Kayla, Brendan, and Kiana. Josh is the second youngest, the family hairdresser, and awesome Dad to Rylanand then the youngest is Jonathan. 
This picture is all of us at Rose’s 50th birthday in June ’98.  It was a surprise, 
and we were all there.

Now, lets move on to the longer list.  *grins*  My friends, near and far.

*grin* my oldest friend in the whole world…. Leah… she lives far away now in my home town of Victoria but we have that kind of friendship where you go months at time between visits, but it seems like only yesterday.  She is amazingly creative and a free spirit. Last summer she married her soulmate Sean in an awesome Asian inspired wedding.
*laughs softly* my oldest school chum…. Teresa…. She's from the Island as well but is so busy building her fashion consultant empire and enjoying life to the fullest that I never see her *pout*   She is a wonderful, encouraging soul, and has allowed me to be a part of her life. She is now happily married to Mario and they are expecting their first baby in October. Don’t ever upset her, she’s a karate master, well, almost anyway
*wistful smile* Nicole….. my first roomie…. A sweet kid *LOL* (she’s gonna hit me for that) I love her madly, and she survived my messiness, and I survived her cleanliness. God has blessed us with an incredible friendship, that waxes and wanes with lifes ups and downs, we have seen each other through some major growth and will always be at the top of each other's lists. She is happily married to Craig and they are loving life in Victoria raising their incredibly beautiful son Noah.
*giggles* Angela…. My world travelling girlie who now hailes from South Korea. We share a love of boys, tattoos and God.... she has become my confidante of sorts. Helping me maintain my spirituality, and boosting my self confidence greatly. We have shared some very special moments, deep conversations and enjoy a rare, raw honesty with each other. I was blessed to be able to visit her in Korea in June 2006. It was wonderful to finally see her life. I am totally blessed by having her in my life. Love you my bella amie!!! *huggles*
This is me, Ang and another friend, Mark on our way to go dancin’ way back when….
YIKES…. Becci….. A very funny, wonderful woman. We met through her cousin Mark.My soul sister… we met through her cousin Mark. She lives in Ontario, and it’s a darn good thing too, cause either coast couldn’t handle both of us. She happily married to another Mark and keeping people in line at her local IKEA. We recently reconnected on the very addictive Facebook and hopefully one day we will meet in person!

Bethany and Matthew….. These two people have come to be an incredible brother and sister in the Lord…. They encourage and love me from a distance in a way that makes them seem right next door.  Bethany started out as an online friend, but we have now spent quite a bit of time together IRL.  I even got to be in her and Matthew's wedding. It was a TON of fun.  They are now the proud parents of two year old Riley. We recently had a great but brief visit over Christams 2006. God blesses me with their friendship!!   *hugs and kisses*
Tammy….. *throws a snowball to wintery Winnipeg* Tammy is my spiritual reviver… she found me, and led me home. She’s now a very Spirit filled pastor’s wife, working along with her husband Greg to make sure some very blessed young people get to know the Lord better….   They have four beautiful children. I had had the priviledge of getting to know Rachel and Curtis as one of their babysitters. Unfortunately distance means I don`t know her two youngest, Brianne and Stephanie as well, but they are beautiful, wonderful kids. Now I have the excuse I have always wanted to go to Winnipeg and check it out.
Jeff…. The original architect of this page, with a generous heart and a quick wit that has often cheered me up when nothing else could. He has found the light of his life, and Suzanne brings a smile to his face, that lights up the room, even over the internet. The Lord uses this guy in great and mighty ways, and he has been a blessing to me… He and Suzanne are the proud parents of Rahne and Avril. Maybe if we ever make it to Winnipeg, they can come from Thunder Bay so we can all finally meet in person!
