What does a Vienna CL do?

Vienna Community Leaders...:  Respond to members' questions by e-mail  Help GeoCitizens create home pages and help new members get settled  Help select new community leaders for the neighborhood  Promote community events

How do I know if I'm ready to be a VCL?

Do you know...:  How to help others build a webpage?  How to help out in GeoCities HelpChat?  How to make a graphic, or write a JavaScript program?  How to debug an HTML document?  (A positive answer to any of the above questions shows your readiness to be a leader.)

What happens if I'm accepted?

If you are accepted for CL training: You will participate in an online training program to prepare you for your duties. (Note: due to changes at Yahoo!GeoCities that took effect Dec. 14, 1999, the training format is undergoing some changes, but will be back online shortly.)

Ready to join the team?

Click here to fill out an online form to apply to be a Vienna Community Leader You'll be asked to provide information about yourself, the reasons why you think you would be a good CL, and the answers to a couple of easy questions of the type CLs are often asked. The current community leaders will discuss your application and if we think you are ready to be added to the team, we'll begin the process of getting you trained. This usually takes a couple weeks, as your application is reviewed by different people.
