The Keene High School Band is off to a busy start this school year. They have completed the fall parade season participating in the Keene High School Homecoming Parade on September 23, 2000 and marched in the Keene Fireman's Parade on October 8th, in which they took first place for the best appearing junior band.
The Pep Band, made up of a group of volunteer students who enjoy showing off their school spirit, has been cheering on the KHS Football team at the home games. The Pep Band also took a trip over the river to Brattleboro in September and helped the Blackbirds move on toward victory against the Colonels.
The band is now hard at work preparing for the Holiday Pops concert to be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2000 at Keene High School.
