If I were to awaken tomorrow,
Without the sight I have today,
I would not mind,
For I have already seen your face.

If, one day, I were to try to speak,
Without producing any sound,
I'd still smile,
For I've proclaimed my love for you.

If my ears were to listen,
Without hearing any sound,
I'd manage,
For I've heard your voice.

If I was forced to live each day
Without these arms at my sides,
I'd live life fully,
For I've held you close to me.

If my lips were to suddenly disappear,
Without any rhyme or reason,
I'd still be happy,
For I still remember our first kiss.

But if suddenly I were to be
Without my memories of us -
How you whisper in my ear,
How we hold each other tight,
How your hand feels in mine,
Or the passion in your eyes when we kiss,
I would cry,
For they are what I cherish most of all.
