This tv show was the story of a bigot that you love to hate. A middle-aged father has something bad to say about nearly every group of people you can imagine, and his "with it" daughter and son-in-law really get under his skin when they force him to face his bigotry. It's hard to believe that such a theme could produce a comedy, but the show managed to do so well enough to win 22 emmys, 8 golden globes and a bunch of other awards!
