Firstly, let me show you the chinese words for this comic, written by ME, so u'll know what i'm talking abt.(i don't have a reliable Chinese word-writing software. *Ahem* here goes...

Well? Please ignore the wrinkles and spotties...it'll have to do for now..anyway some ppl have told me tt i have *potential* in chinese calligraphy. Not bad sia! =p now if i only had the patience to sit down & learn..

Oh, and there has been a movie! It was dubbed "The Stormriders", evidently some would-be wit thought it sounded more 'happening' than 'wind and cloud'.. but hey, u call a spade a spade, ne? Here's a page on it, complete with a REALLY long review and other stuff.

Though it's supposed to be extremely popular in Hongkong, Taiwan and Singapore,not many people seem to have come up with a page about it yet. Meanwhile, here's some pages about it. Hurrah!

Review:
When ya first see e comic, the cover artwork is, quite simply, stunning. However, the contents do leave much to be desired. It's extremely gory, with heads, limbs, fingers, insides, what-have-you flying off the page. With plenty of blood, of course.. Oh well, but amidst all that gruesomeness, if you're patient enough to wander through that, a (somewhat) interesting story-line can be found. Of course, this is relative. =p ah.. suffice to say if you want an action packed, bloody bash-em-up comic that has a sufficiently convoluted plot (betrayals, love triangles, revenge plots..of e usual Hongkong drama sorts)this should be your kinda thing...
uhm.. but i think the story somehow lost some steam towards the end.. er. then again, i never reached the very end..think the story has developed on to the 'next generation' of heroes who regard Wind and Cloud as legends.. or something like that. REALLY long series (see below).. think if u actually bought the entire series u'd probably go broke.

>Language:
It's only available in Chinese (traditional) so far, i think. Yes, that means it's in Fanti, for all of us schooled in the Jianti system. =( oh well.. and i *have* heard some complaints that the language is a trite hard to understand.. but i think it's alright..at least i catch the gist of wat's happening. well it's a chance to improve ur chinese, ne?

Availability:
The series is easily obtained from ordinary newstands here in Singapore. I'm not too sure about other countries though. Amazingly, the series isn't ended yet despite running for 7years or so, and is still going strong. So I guess you'd still be able to purchase it a few years from now!=)
