These are the main characters of the story. Airi, Junpei, Ritsuko and Type 74 are all from earth. They are transported to a strange land where elves and humans live together, and to get back home they team up with Celsia (aka Pochi) who is one of the elders of the elves.
	Airi Komiyama Airi is kinda the leader of the group, she comes up with the plans for the others to follow. She has the sharpest wit of the group and knows what to do to push people to act the way she wants them to. Part of this is probably from her being an actress, back on earth she is a very famous actress and has won many Academy Awards. Another part of this may be her attention to detail, she notices many things that the other would just pass by in haste. Airi though is very discreet about stripping elves she often used disguises and her acting talents to get out of sticky situations and to solve problems, while the Junpei would rather just rush in and used brawn, she uses her brain.
Junpei Ryozoj Junpei is the brawn of the group. He usually tries to rush in without thinking he would rather strip first ask questions later, and he has no reservations about stripping elves. In fact he could care less if they are embarassed or not all he cares about is finding the spell fragments and going back to Japan. Junpei is not bright at all, but what he lacks in smarts he makes up for in strength, Junpei is really strong and good in martial arts. He is constantly making fun of Celcia in her Pochi disguise, calling her all sorts of names and making dumb dog jokes all the time. Which sparks huge arguments between Pochi (Celcia) and Junpei. Junpei's main goals in life are to become the most powerful martial artist in the world, to get back to Japan to eat tons of "real" curry rice and to be with Airi.
	Ritsuko Inoue Ritsuko (also called Rit-chan) is the weapons expert of the group. She is also a high school student, so how she became a weapons expert is a mystery. She is the driver of the tank the group ride around on the Type 74 which later they call Mike. Ritsuko is usually in the background on elf hunts and just follows the others lead, with her faithful tank to back them up should the situation call for it, which it does quite often. Ritsuko
Celcia Marie Claire Celcia is the high priestess and leader of the elven tribes, and a very powerful magician. She is very knowledgable about the world they're in and many types of magics. She was going to send Airi, Junpei and Ritsuko back to their world when Junpei interupted her during the spell, so that her concentration was lost, therefore sending the five parts of the spell off into the world and onto the bodies of five elves. In the start Celcia seems very level headed, but quickly shows that she really has a bad temper especially after transforming and being stuck as Pochi. In both forms Celcia really dislikes Junpei and is constantly calling him an oaf, and troublesome.
	Pochi the dog Pochi is Celcia's disguise so that no one would know it was her helping the Elf Hunters, but that didn't really work too well, cause everyone still calls her Celcia sometimes. At first Celcia was able to transform back to her normal elf self, but after transfering the first part of the spell fragment to her body while in disguise she was stuck in her Pochi disguise until they find all five parts of the spell fragments. Junpei and her don't get along at all and are always arguing and fighting calling each other names. Each time she transfers a part of the spell onto her body a new black mark appears, the first one was a black mark over her left eye* and the next was the best one a really cool huge black mustache, needless to say she was not at all happy about that! Pochi is one the the most psychotic characters that I have ever seen in an anime.
Type 74 Tank/Mike Well it's a tank, I know you're out there thinking why am I listing one of the vehicles as one of the main character of the show, but in fact this tank is much more than a method of transportation or even a weapon, it's just as much a part of the team as every one else. In the beginning there was a tank and this tank was Ritsuko's pride and joy (well it still is) but this tank is also something more later, it becomes alive! Type 74 has gotten the group out of many dangerous situation and transports them everywhere they need to go, the only problem is that it often runs out of gas and this world doesn't exactly have any gas stations. Later the Type 74 is possessed by the ghost of a cat, and recieves the name Mike.
