Kudo Youji

[Up coming: Spoilers] This former detective joined Weiß after a tragic accident where he got too deep into a case. His girlfriend and partner, Asuka Murase, was 'supposedly' shot and killed before his eyes, effectively saving him from likely death. *thank gawd!* Since then, Yohji has sworn that any enemy of a woman is his enemy as well. *sigh* To the other group members, this makes him out for a playboy. And with his flippant manner and his cavalier's charm, he does seem to be so. ^_^

But there is a more serious side to him. Yohji blames himself for Asuka's 'death', finding it hard to let go and love another. ;_; The fact that Asuka did not really die, lost her memory, and ended up as Schreiend's Neu was undoubtably a heavy blow to him. He was forced to kill her in the end, which added a deeper scar on his guilty conscience. *sniff*

When he had accidently stumbled upon a private, intimate conversation between Nagi and Toto later on in the series, he was struck by their affections for each other. After that, he could not find it in his heart to hurt either one of them even though both were enemies. *aw...*

In my opinion, Yohji has a compassionate soul, romantic, and sensitive. But he is easily influenced by people and somewhat insecure with his own feeling. These qualities make him quite an attractive anime character in my book, not to mention his good looks and lean bod. ^^** Six foot tall, dirty blond... that sexy voice... *ROWL* ^_~ It's little wonder why I dedicated this homepage to him.
