VI. Electronics
Radar tracking:
- TMRGR-8(*) head mounted phased array with spherical coverage, for various
scan/track, and battlefield surveillance options.
- TMRIFF-2 IFF friend or foe interrogator
Optical tracking:
- TMRCS-6
Multi-band digital camera system, for medium range all attitude infra-red
imaging, optical and ultra-violet band detection and tracking.
- TMRLD-6 Multi-frequency laser ranger and designator.
Tactical Electronic Warfare System (TEWS):
- TMRRW-4 Radar Warning Receiver (RWR)
- TMRIR-4 Infra-red Warning Receiver (IRWR)
- TMRAJ-4 Active sensor jammer
- TMRECM-4 internal countermeasures system
- TMRDD-4 Chaff/flare dispenser
- Multiple VHF and UHF antennas
(*) Terran designation. The Tirolian designers considered
the sensors part of the design and did not assign separate designations for
these systems.
VII. Armament
Cannons
(MS-25C)
- 1 x Zanscare RA-8 single-barreled tachyon cannon: This
much more robust version of the tachyon rifle mounted on most mobile
suits. The cannon, while smaller than previous versions, packs a more
powerful punch as well as longer range. The cannon can fire a 1 GJ
burst every five seconds with a range of 500 km. This gives any one of
the mobile suits the ability to inflict considerable damage on enemy capital
ships or smaller gunships. The cannon is hooked directly into the two
reactors giving it unlimited ammo.
Hand Held Weapons
- 1
x Zanscare TA-7 single-barreled tachyon rifle: This hand-held tachyon rifle
is the main weapon for the MS-25 Geara Doga, and is easily as powerful as
the point defense cannons mounted on many warships. The rifle can fire at up
to 60 rounds per minute with a maximum discharge of 280 MJ per burst.
The rifle has its own dedicated energy magazine cel which is top loaded into
the rifle. Each magazine cel contains enough energy for 35 bursts at
maximum output. The MS-25 Geara Doga can carry two spare magazine cels
on its waist.

x Zanscare TA-8 single-barreled tachyon rifle w/ bayonet and grenade launcher: As
an alternative to the TA-7 the MS-25 can se the TA-8. The TA-8 comes
with several unique features. The first of these is a heat bayonet
similar to those seen on some Terran gunpod designs. The bayonet comes
in handy in close in fights and is devastating against any type of power
armor, especially if the pilot is giant sized. The second feature is a
grenade launcher. The launcher can fire what amounts a dumb fire mini
missile with a range of 2 km. The launcher comes with only one
grenade. The rifle itself is very powerful firing up to 310 MJ bursts
every second. The rifle also uses a swing out handle similar to the
ones found on the older Zaku II rifles leading to increased accuracy and
stability when firing. The TA-8 is usually issued only to high ranking
officers or aces.
- 4
x Erklar Strum Faust Self Propelled Rocket: Modeled quite uniquely
after a German World War II disposable anti-armor weapon, the Strum Faust as
its called is merely an upgraded version of this one use weapon carried on
the Geara Doga's shield. The Strum Faust is a high velocity rocket
with a 40 kg HEAP warhead designed for penetrating enemy power armor.
The rocket is short range with a maximum range of 5 km with a laser
guidance system. The weapon comes in two separate parts and mounted on
the 'skirt' armor. Before firing the Geara Doga assembles the weapon quickly
(under 5 seconds), takes aim, and fires. The rocket has its own
internal guidance system supplement by the firing system of the Geara Doga via a
remote port in the hand of the mobile suit. After launching the weapon
is independently guided to the target.
Melee Weapon
- 1 x 1.2 MW tachyon beam saber: This is the common beam
saber which serves as the main melee weapon of the mobile suit. The
beam saber only contains enough energy and tachyons for about 60 seconds of
continuous use. When not in use, the beam sabers are stored in the backpack
of the mecha, where they are recharged by the reactor. The Geara Doga can
switch the beam saber on and off while holding it, in order to conserve
power. Once totally depleted it takes 15 minutes for a saber to recharge to
full capacity. The Geara Doga carries two sabers mounted on its waist.
Missiles
- 2 x Dual Missile Launchers:
This weapon provides the Geara Doga with an excellent short
range attack useful in the first clash of mecha. These launchers each
carry two short range missiles mounted on either side of the front of the
projectile shield.
VIII. Armor
The armor on the MS-25 is a low-mass lunarium titanium composite plating that
is the standard for Tirolian mobile suits known as Gundarium Alpha. Aside from
the superb protection provided against projectiles, missiles, and other kinetic
weapons, this armor is also fairly resistant to plasma globes (annihilation
discs), lasers, and to a lesser extent, particle guns too, owing to the fact
that the armor can flake off and evaporate in layers under fire from such
high-energy weapons, taking much of the weapon's energy and converting it into
the latent heat of sublimation in the armor. The armor stops all small arms
fire, and has good resistance to all weapons commonly mounted on combat mecha.
This new armor is also much lighter than most armors weighing a full two thirds
less than the traditional armor's mounted on mecha, but unlike its Terran
counterpart, this version is much easier to manufacture and therefore much
cheaper costing as much as regular armor.
The Geara Doga provides full protection from nuclear, biological, and
chemical hazards, using an overpressure cockpit environment activated by
radiation and hazardous chemical sensors, or manually when biological warfare
conditions are anticipated. The internal consumables supplies can provide
atmosphere for three days maximum.
