• FTT-2: Served with all branches of the RDF from 2052 and is still in service.

IV. Propulsion

• Engine: 2 x Textron Lycoming TL-225 electric engines providing 12000 hp each.
• Transmission: Automatic transmission providing 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.
• Powerplant: 2 x RRD-3 Miniaturized Fusion-cell energizer providing electrical power to the mecha.
• Fuel Capacity: 18 Standard Canisters of Reaction Mass

VII. Armament

Cannons

• 4 x Smith & Wesson AC-12 50mm autocannons mounted in pairs on either side of the cab in twin turrets, each firing at 800 rounds per minute, and each cannon has a 3000 round belt feed. Ammunition is a mix of Tungsten-coated depleted Uranium Armor Piercing Spin-Stabilized Discarding Sabot (APSSDS), High Explosive Armor Piercing (HEAP) and tracer rounds.

VIII. Armor

The armor on the FTT-2 is a basic aluminium composite composite plating. It gives less than adaquate protection against projectiles, missiles, and other kinetic weapons, this armor is not resistant to plasma globes (annihilation discs), lasers, and particle guns.  The armor stops most small arms fire.

The FTT-2 provides full protection from nuclear, biological, and chemical hazards, using an overpressure cockpit environment activated by radiation and hazardous chemical sensors, or manually when biological warfare conditions are anticipated. The internal consumables supplies can provide atmosphere for three days maximum.
