FIRST QUARTER: ( 8 Weeks,12 Hrs/ Week ) Alternating Current & Direct Current Circuits ( AC/DC )

* Review of arithmetic and signed numbers, powers and roots, scientific notation, graphs ratio and proportion.
* Fundamental operations, algebraic equations, and inequalities, algebraic fractions .
* Polynomials, factoring, quadratics.
* Exponent, determinants, two simultaneous equations, three simultaneous equations.
* Fundamentals of trigonometry: circular function, graphs of circular functions, right triangle trigonometry, and polar coordinates.
* Complex algebra, logarithms.
* Conductor and insulators, current flow, voltage.
* Resistance, ohm's law, power dissipation.
* Series and parallel circuits.
* Kirchhoffs Laws, voltage dividers.
* Superposition, Thevenin's theorem, Norton's theorem, mesh equations.
* Electrical measurements, magnetism.
* Alternating current and voltage power in AC circuits.

SECOND QUARTER: ( 8 Weeks, 12 Hrs/ Week ) Analog Circuits

* Semiconductor theory, PN junctions, diodes and diode circuits, zener regulator.
* Bipolar transistors.
* Transistor biasing circuits
* Small signal amplifier, AC equivalent circuits.
* Class A power amplifiers, Class B push-pull amplifiers.
* Field effect transistors, F.E.T. circuits analysis.
* Integrated circuits, differential amplifiers.

THIRD QUARTER: ( 8 Weeks, 12 Hrs/ Week ) Digital Circuits

* Binary numbers, octal numbers, hexadecimal numbers, binary codes.
* LOGIC Gates: AND gates, OR gates, NOT gates, NAND, NOR, XOR XNOR, Demorgan's Theorems. The universal building block, laws and theorems of Boolean algebra, T, TL NAND gates three-state gates.
* Simplifying Logic Circuits: Fundamental products, AND-OR networks, four-variable Karnaugh maps, PAIRS, QUADS, and OCTE TS, don't care conditions, NAND-NAND networks, data selector/multiplex logic.
* Flip-flops: The RS flip-flop, the D flip-flop, JK master/slave flip-flops, and the monostable multivibrator.
* Registers: A serial shift registers, left-right shift registers, parallel entry.
* Counters: Binary ripple-carry counters, asynchronous counters, using feedback, parallel counters, MSI decade counters, A ring counter, up/down counters, SSI and MSI integrated circuits.
* Including Test Equipment: Oscilloscopes, frequency generation and measurement, analog and digital meters, special-measuring instruments.
