WARNING! For the next week or two, MOST or ALL of the pictures on this site will be DOWN. Do not email me about it! I know about it! I'm trying a different service so that I can conserve space so that the site will not crash as often! I will try to minimize the main page, but for the art galleries, thumbnails are *out of the question*. People with slow load times will have to deal with it. I am WAY too busy to even think about that. Besides, it means more work, and more storage space (each picture would have to be saved twice ><), and that's time I don't have. I barely have time to relocate all the pictures as it is. I have an exam tomorrow, so now I must study.

Hm... It's been awhile. Its been a very very busy while, though. I have about zip time lately to do anything. And yes, I know the site has been down a lot. While that's half my fault, its half yours too - too many people accessing the site at the same time overloads the data transfer, so they shut the site down.
Anyway, got some news. My exams are in one of the first weeks of December, and then after that... nothing till the next quarter starts up in January. And I'll be getting a new webpage tool to revamp my site on. So... hold off till December, I ask! Then, there will be a new layout, the fic contest will be updated (promise!!). The site might even move, cus I'm getting slightly tired of Geocities. Whether we're moving to our own site (*looks in wallet* okane, doko desu ka?), or to another free server, we have yet to see. But wait till December, and you'll start seeing some changes. Once I get the site revamped and stable once more, don't expect any more, if any, updates... I'm so out of the WK loop, even though I know they're making another TV series and the first was just released here. I'm tired of WK, and yes, I'll say it... I'm a bit tired of Yoji. But the site will be here! I want this site to stay up as long as possible, to help further the future WK generations on the first season Yoji, if nothing else.
Anyway, I now order all of you reading this to go out and download yourself some Pizzicato Five and Daft Punk, and then email this guy I really like and tell him so do something with me this weekend... or at least get me a good otanjobi present *pouts*

Argh! People!! Be careful with my baby!! So far I've gotten three emails from Geocities telling me that there is a high percentage of people using the site at the same time (lots of data transfer)! And therefore, they shut down my page for a little while - I'm sure some of you have noticed! Now, there are several solutions to this: I can somehow try to minimize the information on the page (but I really have very little time to do such a thing), or I can move the page to another server, or the possibility of my own domain. I don't mind doing the domain thing. BUT! I need a place that offers a cheap per monthly rate (not to succeed 20$ please!). I'm a poor student, but I would be able to afford my own domain for a little while. If you know of any place where I can buy a domain name and space for cheap, please let me know by emailing me!

I hate moving. It will take me forever to unpack >< And my mail isn't working. I can receive mail, it appears. But I can't send mail. If you emailed me awhile ago, your mail is being stored in another account of mine. If I can ever figure out my many email addresses and these sucky mail programs, I might be able to get back to some of you! I would just advise re-emailing me if it was important. My mail will be forever disrupted. I don't see myself recovering from this move for a very long time, so please be patient while I get my new computer organized. Then I can start thinking about reorganizing and redoing the page. But it might not be for many months! *sigh* I hate moving

First off, I want to say how appalled I am about this tragedy. How *DARE* someone do something so heartless, using a commercial plane as a weapon to destroy two buildings. It's sickening. And to the news... how sickening it is to show the footage of the plane flying into the building, over and over. Don't they realize that the more they show it, the more people see it, the more dessensitized we become towards violence? I watched the news the whole day of the tragedy. How many times did I see that footage? I can watch it without blinking an eye, and that's not a good thing. But still, I feel for all of those families and people and firemen and police. I live in the midwest, so I wasn't near the destruction, but still... it stopped business, school, and life on the day it happened; everyone was affected. My mind and heart are with everyone who suffered, and I wish them peace and prayers.
Update made. More pictures added to the Fashion Gallery (b/c of Ness's bugging ^_-), people added to the List, and more Obsessed reasons. I'll try to update the Contest page soon.

That's right! The Underwear has been around for two whole years! And here I thought it would never get past the firs few weeks. *throws confettii, pops poppers, passes out the hats* Thanks to everyone who made this possible! Look for an update in the next few days!
I'm moving on Sunday, so things may be a slightly jumbled for the next week. But I'll try to get some work done here and on the Fanfiction Contest page.

Whew! DDR sure can be a work-out some days! I suck horribly, only having just got the game, but still! One announcement, the Velveteer Fanfiction Contest will open on 8-31-01. That's right, this Friday! The Contest page will be posted on Friday for everyone to access.
Speaking of Fanfiction though - Remember my friend Rin who wrote The Trials and Tribulations of Shounen-Ai? Yes? Well he just added another fic on his site, As I Died Slowly, which is kind of in the same vein as Trails. Please check it out!
And for you slow modem people... (why does everyone have a slow modem? i'm on Cable and will be moving up to a T-connection soon... so i never have the slow loading problems most people have), the Underwear will be getting various make-overs, hopefully. The Art Gallerys and FanArt sections will be revamped (thumbnails should help you slow loaders!), and the Main Page redone. Since I am totally incompetent (and happy to let you slow modem people rot as you wait for everything to load, heh ^_-) I am having several wonderful graphics people help me out on this (or at least give suggestions ^_^). The revamp won't begin to happen till mid to late September, and it may take awhile to get organized. There may be days when whole sections of the site go down as I redo them. Please be patient with me! It will hopefully be much better when I am done!! Gives you slow people something to look forward to as the Art Gallery creeps its way onto your screen...

Come one, come all! The Velvet Underwear is in the middle of designing a fanfiction contest (well, actually i'm in the middle of *lunch* but... ^^;;)!! The contest shall open shortly, as I try to collect judges and get prizes together. Speaking of though... Judges!! We need judges!! Some of you need to be over 18 years old, because we have Yaoi categories. Judges, at the moment, will not be able to submit fics! This may change, but if you want to be a judge, please remember that you may not be able to submit anything! You just get to relax and read good fics. Sounds good to me! ^_^ Depending on how many people apply to be judges, I may be telling people at early as tonight or tomorrow morning if you are a judge. Please look for an email in your box if you emailed me, and I'll let you guys know soon when the contest is opening!

Allo, allo! What's this? I'm back! Better than ever? Not quite. I've been sick since Saturday morning (ugggghhh...). Went to Otakon, came back from Otakon... Many stories to tell, which may get told if I ever get my sick self in gear and write them up. Somehow I managed to miss a lot of Weiss people too (i never saw one Aya... not one!), then again, I was sick and I had to stand in long lines and then I went and watched anime for 4 hours (go Fujiko!). But those that I did catch all knew my page (I feel... so special!). It still amazes me how big this page really is, or how many people recognize the name. I was hugged by one girl, told that another loved me, and told by another that I was a legend (is this page really that big? ^^;;). And I met the webmistress of the very first Yoji page out there, the one that inspired me to make this page (Black Angel... still a very good site). I still have to finish off my roll of film and then I'll get it developed. Who knows... maybe I'll even post my own cosplay pic up here ^_^ I'm actually quite surprised at myself for revealing myself to those few Weiss people. I usually like to keep things mysterious or very quiet, but now some people know who I am (^^;;). The con was good, although last year was better. I had fun cosplaying and having my picture taken by the few Macross fans I ran into. And it was great gettnig Midorikawa Hikaru's autograph, even if I didn't get to make the pannel *sigh*. Well, I'll try to tell more later.

Well, let's see. My check book is up to date, my mail is way behind, and I really want those fansubs that I ordered a year ago to get here. *sigh* Oh well.
The High Priestess is going on vacation this Friday! Yaay! Nothing to worry about! Beach time, baby! Take this poor Aya-pale girl and stick her in the sun. So anyway... you got anything to send to me, do it now or when I get back (starting this Friday I'll be gone for almost a week and a half). I'm taking notebooks along and I might get some work done on a few WK short fics I've had bouncing in my head. And think... I've had this desire to draw lately! Will we see some of Lynn's work up here? The world will never know... Or maybe it will know when I get back. Nonetheless, I will be gone! I am trying to answer all of my mail before I leave, get little things done (additions to the fanart, List and Obsession), but not guarenteed! I still have mondo things to do before I can turn to email and page work.
In short, I'm going to be gone. And I'm going to enjoy it. A week without email... without annoying people on IM... without... without... Well, I should shut up before I starting naming names and offending people. Enjoy! I know I will.

6-16-01 Idrive goes down on the 18th. Therefore the Music section is closed. I don't know if I'll be able to put it back up. I'd like to, so that WK fans have a way to access the music, since Napster is drowning and I know it can be hard searching around the Net to find the songs. If anyone can recommend a free server where music files can be stored, I will open the Music section back up. FreeDrive goes under in July, so that's not an option. Any help is much appreciated!

That Yoji obsessed? I can help. You can be Yoji all over if you want! This was brought to my attention by the lovely lady of the rubber chicken below. Go to Beauty.com and look for 'Yohji'. Yup, Yohji Yamamoto, famous Japanese designer. You can wear 'Yohji perfume', bathe with 'Yohji bath gel'. Go to Ebay and type in Yohji. You'll see clothes (although, they're in the hundreds ^^;;), sunglasses, perfumes and the works. Just from one humble Yohji/Yoji fan to the next ^_^

It's a small update. I have no desire to do big updates anymore. Added some new people, some reasons to the obsessed list. Had to change servers for the music files, so instead of Driveway, they're on Idrive. Posted the absolute lovely picture that the mad cartoonist drew for me. If anyone is wondering, I will be maintaining the fic page, adding more stories and the like, so submissions are still being taken.

Very minor updates. Some people added, some obsessed reasons added, a link to a fic fixed (*stop* emailing me about it people, i *know* that it's broken!).
Here's the big thing though. I'm sure everyone's noticed that I don't really update anymore. Why? Because I just don't care. There's nothing more to really do with this page. And so, I'm pretty much not going to work on it anymore. I'll still be around to fix links, update the Obsessed list, and add people to the Shrine List, but other than that, I'm not going to do anything. It's been over a year since I've gotten into Weiss, and while I still like it a lot (the drama cd's and the OAV's more than the tv series), I'm just not into it like I was. And so, I move on.
