This is a maple approx. 32 years old. I have had the tree for 25 years and it was one of my first trees. The photograph was taken this year. I am not really a collector, just a person who appreciates the beauty of bonsai. I have approx. 12 trees though they are not all as good as my maple. I add to the collection only when I see a shape I like. This means I go many years without adding any trees. I also have a photograph of this particular maple taken approx. 23 years ago.
