~MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO~(TONARI NO TOTORO)

Tonari no Totoro is a story about two young girls, Satsuki and Mei, who have just moved into a new home in the country. To their complete surprise they find that they share their home with some rather unusual creatures including dustbunnies and some totoros who are constantly leaving acorns behind. The family is getting settled into their new home without their mother who is sick in the hospital. While the girls are getting settled in however, they make the acquaintance of a very large and old totoro; the veritable king of the forest. (Gotta love his expression when Mei imitates him when he "introduces" himself). All is well with the family until a telegram arrives from the hospital regarding the girls' mother. She wasn't to be coming home for the weekend. Determined to see her mother, Mei decides to run off to Shichikokuyama Hospital with some corn that she picked from the neighbour's garden. And trouble begins. Really want to know? Go watch it!! It's a very touching movie.
