In Tamahome's Head: The most beautiful sound I ever heard.
He and Miaka stand, hands joined, in front of her chambers.
In Tamahome's Head: Miaka, Miaka, Miaka, Miaka...
They kiss.
In Tamahome's Head: All the beautiful sounds of the world in a single word.
Miaka goes into her room and closes the door.
In Tamahome's Head: Miaka, Miaka, Miaka, Miaka...
In a daze, he slowly turns and walks along the walkway
In Tamahome's Head: Miaka, Miaka...
He begins to move at a faster pace.
Tamahome: Miaka!
He does a slow pirouette.
Tamahome: I just met a girl named Miaka,
Begins dancing along the raised walkway.
Tamahome: And suddenly that name...will never be the same to me.
Hotohori and his advisors walk by giving Tamahome a strange look.
Tamahome: Miaka!
Does a balletic jump.
Tamahome: I just kissed a girl named Miaka,
Dances down the steps and into the courtyard.
Tamahome: And suddenly I found...how wonderful a sound can be!
Chichiri approaches him and tries to say something. Seeing that Tamahome doesn't hear him, Chichiri gives up and leaves.
Tamahome: Miaka!
He grabs Nuriko who is walking by.
Tamahome: Say it loud and there's music playing--
He begins dancing with Nuriko, who's rather shocked. Tamahome then twirls him and walks off.
Tamahome: Say it soft and it's almost like praying--
He gets down on one knee like he's praying.
Tamahome: Miaka...
He gets back up and begins to make his way to the Palace gate.
Tamahome: I'll never stop saying Miaka!
He begins to run.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaaakaaaaaa!!
He does a balletic leap through the gate, surprising two guards.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaakaaaa!!
He begins to dance through the town, getting strange looks from everyone.
Tamahome: Miaaaaakaaa! Miaaaaakaaaaaa!!
He dances past Mitsukake and Chiriko, who are shopping. They both look at him like he's lost his mind.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
He does one of those slow turns, his arms straight out to the side.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaaaaaaakaaaaaaa!!
Begins dancing through the town again, towards the Palace.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaaaaakaaaaaaa!!
Does another balletic leap through the Palace gate, past the same startled guards.
Tamahome: Miaaaaakaaaa!!
Dances up the steps to the walkway.
Tamahome: Say it loud and there's music playing--
He leaps up onto the railing. He grabs a support beam with one hand while holding the other hand out. (Think Gene Kelly in "Singing in the Rain".)
Tamahome: Say it soft and it's almost like praying--
Tamahome leans against the support beam, a dreamy look in his eyes.
Tamahome: Miaka...
I'll never stop saying Miaka.
He does a graceful jump off the railing into the courtyard
Tamahome: The most beautiful sound I ever heard--
He reaches out and grabs the nearest person, who happens to be Tasuki, and begins to dance with him.
Tamahome: Miaaaaaaaaaaakaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
He dips Tasuki, who glares up at him. Tamahome nevers looks at him but sings ecstatically to the sky.
