Miaka picks up the phone and dials a number. She waits, but no answer.
It's easy, let it go...
She hangs up the phone, a sad look on her face.

Adia, I'm empty since you left me,
Miaka looks out the window of her room.
Trying to find a way to carry on.
She leaves her room and walks slowly downstairs
I've searched myself and everyone
to see where we went wrong
Miaka pictures each of the seishi, one at a time, in her mind.

'Cause there's no one left to finger
Kitsune and Tetsuya are at the bottom of the stairs, watching her.
No one here to blame
She stops in front of Kitsune and looks up at him, sadly. He says nothing but looks sadly back at her. Tetsuya looks away.
No one left to talk to honey
She turns and walks away from them.

She puts her shoes on and goes outside.

Miaka slowly turns and leaves for home.

Yui sits in her room, still feeling ashamed of all she'd done to Miaka. Finally, with determination, she gets up and runs out of her room. When she sees that Miaka isn't still outside, she begins running for Miaka's apartment building.

Yui arrives outside of Miaka's appartment building.

Taking a pebble, she throws it at Miaka's window.
We all falter,
Miaka comes to the window. Yui waves up at her.
Does it matter?
Miaka smiles and disappears from the window

Miaka comes out the front door, not even taking time to put her shoes on.

Yui starts talking
