when i was younger i was a book worm, but as i started junior high school and high school, i haven't had the chance to read novels that i wanted to read. thanks to english class, i have been able to read some. i have read novels such as the joy luck club, little women, a long fatal love chase, kitchen, and emma. since i'm a very slow reader, this page wont be updated for awhile, expect from some novels that i might be interested in reading.


Memoirs of a Geisha
i was recommended by my friend alcina to read this book. i was always interested in the japanese entertainers the geisha, and this book gave me a better understanding about their hardships. since i'm a fan of novels written on asians, this became my favourite. i truly do recommend this book to anyone who is interested in a good read, but i hear a movie is going to be made. =P the novel is about a girl named Chiyo-chan who is sold to become a geisha over some time, and her life to become sucessful. excellent book.
