Dare?
-Japanese-
Hajimemashite, watashi wa Saphira desu. No, I am not a Japanese nor that I am fluent on it. As most of the otakus out there, I am very tempted to learn Japanese -- so far I have bought 3 dictionaries used only to translate interesting words (in anime, songs, and manga).

Being a student in University of San Diego, I enjoy life quite well. My friends are struggling with their biology stuff while I found myself doing this page. Looks like Business Accounting major is not that bad for me (at least until now). The new scanner in computer lab is really something I enjoy. Thanks to the scanner, I am able to put some pictures on the net.

As for my background, hmm.... I am just a regular asian (indonesian) girl who is lucky enough to be able to get some education in America. US is a nice place to stay. Personally, I feel that there are much more things to enjoy in US compares to Indonesia. Even though to think about the cost of life, Indonesia is still much better. Like most of international students, I experienced the cultural differences and a change in life style. In any case, as I said above, I enjoy my life. Hmm... isn't adaptation a very enhanced inate ability of human?

For now, I am interested in Japanese animation and manga. I started collecting manga since when I was back in Indonesia (Indonesian translated) for about 5 years until now. I used to like reading shoujo mangas (candy-candy, rose of versailles, etc.). After a while, I got tired of them since they have similar plot in general. The only shoujo manga I'm still collecting right now are "Orpheus's Window" and "garasu no kamen" - the glass mask").

I enjoy drama, not necessarily romance, but tragedy. In japanese animation, I like endings such as Windaria and stories such as Key The Metal Idol (slow in plot, but have a very strong string to connect pieces together). Of course, from the first glance of my page, you must have noticed that my favorite is Kyuuketsuhime Miyu.

As a fan, I have a personal impression on the characters that makes me very dedicated to this series. Of course, every individual will have a different preception on this.

Well, I think I have no more to say about myself. Before I bore you too much, you can go back to the main page.

To my good friends, I would like to thank you all for your support and friendship. Also, thanks to Mathias, who has helped me with my pages and improved my knowledge on internet. Domou arigatou gozaimasu mina-san.
