Introduction to "TOBUNKEN"
Urban Culture & Folklore Society of Osaka

(大阪都市文化研究会)is an independent private group which explores cities and
towns around Osaka, Kyoto and Hanshinkan. We are neither architecture maniacs,
nor history maniacs. We focus on hidden and forgotten images of cities and
towns, with no serious academic concern. We maintain our group as a base where
people can enjoy discussing and exchanging opinion in casual atmosphere.

At present, Tobunken holds over 40 members and always welcome everyone to join our activities.
