All Card Tricks Here!

You asked for it, and now you have it. A page dedicated to card tricks, but remember my little warning! Remember- I am NOT responible for ANYTHING that may happen to you! Here you go!

Trick 1a.Another good card trick!

Take your deck and locate two Kings, preferrably the same color.
Have your victim (volunteer) pick out any card from the deck.
Talk about Houdini, how he was able to escape from anything, and that you will do a slight representation today with your victims card being Houdini.
Spread out the deck on the table and place one of the Kings near the middle, raising him up halfway, having him be a guard.
Put Houdini one card away, so you skip a card, also halfway up.
Put the other King One card away, skipping, from Houdini, he also being a guard and halfway up.
Close up the deck. "The cell was shut."
Put the deck into a pack only halfway. "Into jail they go."
Push them down. But keep the deck suspended in the pack with your fingers.
Ask what the card is.
When your victim replies, let go, and show that their card is standing up. Taa-daaa!
This is self-working, but don't give that secret away!

Hey, here's another card trick! What's THAT doing here??

Trick 2a.

Use a pencil and write on a piece of paper: "THE NAME OF THE CARD IS"
Have this face down.
Have the Ten of Hearts on top of the deck.
Tell your victim to cut the deck, then point to a spot across the table for them to put it.
Take the bottom half and put it criss-cross on top of the part he cut.
This is the point to make sure your victim is not too bright. Ask what cradr he cut, he will not know because you didn't tell him to look at it!
Then take the top criss-crossed half off the deck. And tell him to look at the top card of the half he put down.
It will be the top card, the Ten of Diamonds, but don't say that!
Put the deck together, and have him put that back on the top.
Have him read the prediction. It will be incomplete, so do this:
Erase the "H" in the first word, the "AME" in the second, go to the last line and erase the "T", "C"< and the "D".
Cross the top of the "I" in the last word so it looks like a T.
The pad should look like this: "T E N OF HE AR TS"
They will be shocked! This is a good one, don't ruin it!

Here's another one that can be used over and over and you can even make tricks of your own with it!

Trick 3a:

Take your deck and shuffle if you like, but have your victim pick a card, any card!

While they are memorizing it, cut the deck, and look at the bottom card that you cut to.

Have your victim put their card where you cut, and place the top half on it.

Now you can do minimal shuffling if you like. (eg. cutting, taking parts from the middle...)

You spread the deck out on the table and their card will be to the immediate right of the card that you looked at! Gee wiz!

Trick 4a. This one is of my own invention! I think and hope! I think that it is pretty good! Here you go.

Take your deck of cards, and have it in your left hand.
With your little finger, "break" the deck by pushing up the top two cards.
Now with your right hand, grab those two cards as if they were one, and show your victim the card, and have them memorize it.
Put them back, and cut the deck. Show the bottom card of the top half.
Take the "selected" card and put it on the bottom half. Say "Since the bottom card of the top half is going to be put on your card, it will tell us where your card is!"
Then, just for the sake of mixing it up, cut the deck again, but make sure you see the bottom card of the top half.
Put the bottom half on the top. You now should know where the real card is. Because you saw the card that was put on top of your victim's card.
Spread the deck out and show the card has moved, and without any help from your victim, point out where the card is! Neat, huh???
